Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance should I make my reservation?
The earlier you can make your reservation the better your chance of getting the date you want. We appreciate as much advance notice as possible, but we will always work with you even if it’s a last-minute request. Should you be throwing a last-minute party, or decide at the last minute, please still give us a call. We may have a bounce available to rent – even if it is the MORNING of the party! What should I expect on the day of the party? How does the process work? We will deliver and set-up the unit at a prearranged time. Before and during set-up we will discuss placement options for the unit, review the rental agreement, and go over any questions regarding safety, proper use, and any other topic you wish to discuss. If payment has not already been made, it will be due upon set-up of the unit. Who sets up the equipment? We set up all of our units because we want to ensure proper set up for the safest bouncing possible. Who supervises the bounces and how safe are they? All of our moonwalks are new, clean, and well-maintained. It will be necessary for an adult to be in direct supervision of the jumpers at all times. You will receive a “safety procedures” sheet with your rental agreement when you book your party, which must be signed and sent back. By following basic rules all children will be safe and have a great time. If you need someone to stay with the unit to supervise the jumpers, Funtastic Bounce can provide an attendant for a minimal cost. Do you have liability insurance? Yes, Funtastic Bounce is fully insured for general liability coverage. We are only responsible for our own negligence, not yours. This statement in no way implies legal responsibility. In reserving your moonwalk you will be required to sign a rental agreement and “HOLD HARMLESS PROVISION” form that lists specific terms and conditions of the rental. What happens if there is bad weather? We understand that it is difficult to plan an outdoor event around the weather. If you book with us, and it looks like it will rain the day of your event, you can cancel a minimum of 2 hours in advance on the day of your party with no penalty. We can then send you your deposit back, or apply it to another rental, your choice! We want your decision to book with us to be as easy as possible. However, once the bounce has been set-up, we can’t offer refunds. |
Are your units clean and in good condition?
Yes, all of our units are in excellent condition. We inspect, clean, and sanitize each unit after every use. All we ask is that you make sure no one eats on the inflatable and if you do make a mess on the castles, please wipe it up. How many children can use the unit at one time? It depends on the size of the unit you have rented. As a rough average, there can be six to seven jumpers jumping together but it really depends on the size of the children. What keeps the moonwalk safe is to separate the smaller kids from the bigger kids. Can we pick up the bounce ourselves? No, our insurance company requires that we set-up the bounces. Additionally, the bounces average 250-400 pounds each and can be quite difficult to maneuver. What if our party is in the park and there is no electrical source? We have a gas powered generator, which can be rented from us for an additional fee, but we will need to know well in advance to reserve this for you! Can the bounces be set up indoors? Absolutely! If there is an 18-foot ceiling, as in a school gym or church meeting room, it is a great alternative for winter parties! We also have the “Toddler Combo” that can be set up in a garage as it is only eight feet high. |
